| I mixed the album in an audiophile approach. The whole album goes through ups and downs, quiet and loud passages, the guitar gently blends with the others instruments. One could tell "Lethal Alchemy" is a "non guitar album" with prominent backing instrumentation. Another person may find it guitar-oriented. A two dimensional album in the end. I recorded my the album using my Ibanez guitars exclusively. I used mainly my JEM 77BFP guitar to record nearly all lead tracks. It is equipped with a GK2A divided pick-up. All my 6-string guitar have Dean Markley 9-46 gauge strings and 10-56 on the 7-string guitar. I use Dunlop Gator 2mm picks only. The 7 string Ibanez 1527BP is my favourite weapon to play riffs.
No huge racks, no tons of bells and whistles! I use the Roland VG88 as the core of my sound factory, plugged straight the PC. I’m kinda "plug ’n play" guitarist! I have many musical influences as I listen to a lot of music style to extend my scope of music: rock, metal, blues, black metal, fusion, experimental,... I’m very open-minded. My favourite guitarists are among many others, in no particular order, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Pat Metheny, Jimi Hendrix, Allan Holdsworth, Marty Friedman... My most influential albums? Well, on the songwriting side, I would mention Liquid Tension Experiment I & II, Vertú, most Dream Theater and Pat Metheny albums. On the guitar playing, Steve Vai’s "Passion and Warfare" and "Fire garden" have impacted me quite a lot!"
